AP: Will be starting driving lessons soon. This whole driving lesson package will cost me about $750, but it'll be worth it in the end, it'll knock a quarter off the two years from my N License.

AP: Despite the fact that my car has indeed been considered totaled and won't be getting repaired (a moment of silence for my awesome car) it is getting fully paid off PLUS I'm getting money back with which I can use for a down payment on another car.
Related PP: I can't find the same year/color car for sale anywhere.

Journey. Be sure to write about Journey, that game is like the best possible example of Art Game.
AP: I just saw the first few episodes of this show, "Portlandia", about Portland, Oregon. Portland seems like an interesting place.

AP: New car. Not the same year, almost the same color (apparently my favorite color was phased out) and better features. And lower monthly payments. I would almost say the accident was a net positive.

I would call Limbo art before I would Braid. Braid is pretention squared but Limbo uses mood and ambience in ways most games don't even consider. Immersive, creepy and compelling all describe it and the stylistic choices and ambiguous ending fuel contemplation like great artwork is supposed to.
Braid is like Andy Warhol smugly doing trite schlock and telling people its art while secretly laughing when someone falls for it.

You should hear the shit that comes out of the mouths of their creators. Especially from the dude who made Fez, Phil Fish. He bitches and moans about stuff he hates a lot, I'm pretty sure he's just trying to antagonize people and get attention. Just recently he threw a shit fit because he can't play Monster Hunter on his 3DS without a second control stick, which I agree, it's bullshit that you have to shell out $25 to play a 3DS game properly, but the manner in which he voices his opinions, just in general, is absolutely childish. He went on from raging about the two control stick thing to rag on the handheld for being a stupid gimmick and so forth... But like... He owns one. If you hate it so much why do you own it? It's like you step in shit, but instead of scraping it off your shoe you just roll around in it and complain about how terrible it is. The guy does this a lot, I guess making a pretentious indie game for 5 years means you're entitled to be a whiny asshole. That's not to say I don't respect his opinion, I do, but Jesus, you've become a well known and famous indie developer, stop acting like a goddamn child.

AP: My new job. My coworkers are cool as hell (plus almost all of them speak English as a first language), 30% discount on all merchandise, and the work itself isn't too bad. I guess I understand how people can hate working in retail, but so far I'm enjoying it.
