AP: Football season beginning. Auburn won their first game 37-13 over LA Tech, which shattered the point spread by 24 points, I believe. The first half was sort of scary, but the second half was great. I just wish it had been on TV.
AP 2: Georgia losing to Oklahoma State. I despise Georgia. Which is a problem, because I live there, and I'm an Auburn fan.

AP: I made a new best friend out of a complete stranger.
My job, being a local tourist attraction, usually sees thousands of people passing by and hundreds coming in every day. Lots of people, plenty of places, but everyone is a stranger. I met a girl who came to my golf stand by herself, started conversation, and found we are very much alike. Down to our boundless wrath when it comes to seagulls.
