I'm not trolling, I'm stating an opinion.
I don't think they even needed that tagline. It's simply unnecessary.
I didn't really like 300 either.

Yeah, it's a good watch because of all the stop motion.
I'm willing to see the new one because I want to see someone else's take on it. This time there's no off putting stop motion action, it doesn't look awkward, it flows naturally like these creatures are supposed to exist. I think that's the main reason why I want to see it. Don't get me wrong, I love the original, but I still want to see what they do to it. I'm still excited.

I guess I'm the only person here that thinks that 'classics' are names given to shitty old movies to give them the 'shine' they lacked when they were new...(in case it's not obvious, I loath so-called 'classics' as a rule)

Oh don't get me wrong, when I state that the old one is a "classic"
I'm eager to see this to get an updated version of this movie. It was bound to happen anyway. I'm eager to see the differences and whatnot. Especially with Bubo.
But, then again I'll probably be eating my words if it bombs, but I will secretly like it.
Random Trivia: -- According to mythology there was Cerberus, the THREE-headed dog but no Dioskilos with two. They asked Ray Harryhausen why he didn't use a three-headed dog, and he said it takes too much time to animate the extra head.

I prefer the original Planet Of The Apes(the first in the series) over the 2001 remake for example. Same with Godzilla too.

I second that... but in the case of 1954 Godzilla... Nothing can compare to the despair of that Original vs later Showa, Heisei Versions of Godzilla.
