This is a wonderful "What if...?" celebrating Dr.Who's next incarnation scheduled for next year. Splice "2001: A Space Odyssey" with "Wheel In Space" (both from 1968) and you might get something a little like this:

I can see how some people would like it and think it is very clever, but I found it very much I found 2001. Yawn!!!!

I never got why everyone thought 2001 the film was so great. It's so damn slow. The novel on the other hand is excellent, yet was written after the film. Seriously, Kubrick made some great films but 2001 is great only if you can't sleep.
