Class4 (Zombie MMO)

Finally, someone's hoped onto the zombie MMO bus again. It took them long enough. After Exanimus died all my hope for an MMOZ pretty much died. Buuuut...

Undead Labs is working on a zombie MMO for consoles. Not much is known about it other than you'll be able to kill zombies with a #2 pencil. Keep up to date with them on the site, and on Twitter. This will be a most awesome few years.

Yeah, but it'll be great to see all of their news and breakthroughs and such. It's fun following a company since their beginnings. XD And Jeff Strain knows what he's doing, so I'm sure it'll definitely be worth the wait. I just hope he takes advice from fans and such also.

I SUMMON UPON THE...UH....eehhh...I'm updating this thread.

So, Undead Labs has signed a contract with Microsoft Game Studios to create two games, one a zombie co-op, the other the zombie MMO I mentioned above. Class 3 and 4, respectively. This was also mentioned in a new thread, but that's for Class 3, this is mainly for Class 4.

Here's a Q&A they did, discussing how they want to shape the future of their games. And here's some more stuff. I also suggest reading the other articles they have on their site, as they have information about the production team, and other interesting things.

They're making Class3, which will be an XBLA game (2-player maximum), so that they can get the basics and specific things down for Class 4. It's not easy to make a three-layer cake from scratch unless you've made a one-layer before. Making Class3 means they'll have a better understanding of how to create an action MMO for consoles, since most of the production team is used to creating games for the PC.

So anyway, I'm excited. This is gonna be epic.

Also, now that I think about it...Class3 and Class4 seem a bit too connected to have two separate threads. But that's just me...
