So I found this article on Kotaku. It bears this image... ...Which was on the Dead Space Twitter Account. I was a fan of the first game, and can't wait to see what this next one will be. Maybe some other Necromorphs made it off the Ishimura? Give your opinions and speculations on this!

Something tells me there was a spoiler I shouldn't have read...
But that picture is still pretty gnarly. Looks like an evil door of sorts, breathing smoke and malevolent spirits that would devour you and your kitten's soul.
Otherwise, no idea what it would have to do with Dead Space, without reading the article.

Well, it's safe to say HK wouldn't survive a rorschach test. XD
Also, dammit Yut. *Beats with Spoiler Mallet*
Anyway. While I haven't beaten the first one, a second one is something I've been wanting to see. So if this is for that sequel...then I am a happy burrito.

You kids and your hip, pop-culture references! And your new, recent games...
And no doubt I wouldn't survive a test that I know nothing about. Surely it wouldn't test one's imagination. Oooohh... That test... Now I remember... And it really doesn't test one's imagination...

Removed the spoiler! XD Sorry to those who may have not played it. Anyways, for those who are not familiar with Dead Space, the doorway like shape in the center is "The Marker", an obelisk that's the icon of the Church of Unitology. The splatters around it are forms of the Necromophs. I have no idea what the scribbles at the bottom say, however, they are seen written in blood all over the place in the Ishimura however.

Update! The scribbly bits at the bottom have been translated. That didn't take long. XD It says "The nightmare is over but it will not end." Source!EDIT: This is the Marker as seen in the beginning of Dead Space Extraction on the Wii. Just for those who are not familiar. Also, be sure to get Dead Space Extraction for the Wii if your new to Dead Space, it's the prequel to the Original Dead Space game, except played as a rail shooter.

So....I'm the only one here who got the news?
*sighs*
Okay, it works like this: Electronic Arts has confirmed that Dead Space 2 is currently in development. How far along, they won't say. Just that it is. You may all party now.
....And on that note, I'm gonna switch back to my original av.

Yeah, I kinda gathered that they were making the game and not doing nothing.

It's EA. They're so full of themselves they've partially digested their own head, remember?
At any rate, if things in the Dead Space universe continue doing what they normally do, they've probably gotten worse, and Isaac Clarke (Systems Engineer!) has to deal with it. Again. Presumably.
Curse being so short on details.
Though, if I had to hazard a guess based on that translation, that marker was made of something sturdy enough that having a CONTINENT SIZED PIECE OF ROCK dropped on it didn't destroy it.
