Are there any games like Etrian Odyssey without the Cartography?

My sources tell me that there are only four other first-person RPGs on the DS, two of them being EO I and II. The only one that resembles EO is The Dark Spire, and it looks like more of the same. The last one, doesn't resemble any of the above.

I guess I'll just have to dig out my metal stylus again, then.

Metal? I'm still stuck with the plastic stylus... Probably my fourth or fifth one. And last thing on the Dark Spire, I don't know for sure if cartography is a large aspect of it, just know it's similar to EO.

I've got a longer metal stylus that's a bit better for games where you have to draw.

I could have used a stylus like that for Meteos. That, and a screen protector.

How IS Meteos? I've been meaning to pick it up and then I don't.
And I still need to find a copy of Tetris. ;A; I lost mine.

Oh god, yes, I need a screen protector. There's this one spot where there's a ton of little tiny scratches from playing too much Zelda, or Call of Duty. XD

I have 144 hours logged in on it, and it's absolutely amazing. It's a fast paced game of matching rows of 3-5 or columns of 3 to launch meteos from your planet onto that of your opponents, so their screen fills up and their planet explodes. A tad like Tetris, but on crack. But the original version is the one to get, don't even touch the lesser Disney version! Fast, frantic, hectic, chaotic and requires good reflexes. One of the best puzzlers out there. I have columns of scratches from Meteos, and an actual small scratch that's noticeable at first glance. Kinda a small dent. But too late for either of us, eh?

I got Might & Magic, it's pretty fun. It's a puzzle/RPG/RTS type deal. Match units of the same colors in certain shapes to attack or form walls and all that jazz. Good fun.

Lego Indiana Jones and Star Wars are pretty fun, too. To get the complete 100% is a bitch and a half, but it still makes the game fun though. I love the Indiana Jones game a little more than the Star Wars game, though. I find it to be more fun. Plus, Nazis.
Also, Mario Party DS.

Might & Magic is addicting. Really REALLY addicting. Like... asking strangers "Do you have twenty bucks?" addicting.

You must get Peggle: Dual Shot. It's a portable edition of crack assorted addictive drugs infused with a puzzle game. Absolutely amazing.
