*Sprays Hail with a hose*

I am not getting Diamond and Pearl when I can just get Platinum.

And I just beat Professor Layton and the Curious Village *Spoiler*I wish I had posted "Attack of the living RealDolls" when I first said it in real life.*Spoilerend* and am getting into starting The Diabolical Box.

What kind of games are you into? It would help quite a bit. XD
Anyways...
If you like FPS Shooters, Metroid Prime Hunters, Call of Duty World At War, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized, MOON, and Dementium: The Ward are all excellent FPS games.

Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story was awesome, and then the Phoenix Wright games of course.

Assassin's Creed II Discovery is really fun.

And yush, hotel dusk is really good.

New Super Mario Bros, if for some reason you don't own it.

Legend of Zelda: The Spirit Tracks is really good.

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure is a really fun blend of platforming action, and puzzle. The selling point is that you play as a wealthy little old British man with a cane, top hat, and monocle (BOLLY).

You know you want it. XD

Scribblenauts is really good as well.

So that's all I can think of right now. XD

I'm sold for the Henry Hatsworth.

I third Hotel Dusk: Room 215, one of the best Adventure games out there on the DS and one of the best stories for the system in general.

For RPGs, Etrian Odyssey I or II: Heroes of Lagaard, both for a niche genre, but excellent RPGs nonetheless. Customization, map-making and you dying if you don't plan ahead. But the second one improves on the first immensely, especially on the map-making aspect.

Puzzlin' fix, Meteos. Tetris on crack, and quite addicting.
Or Puzzle Quest, which is simply RPG + Bejeweled

And I may have to go against Hail on this, but Age of Empires over Age of Mythologies.

The World Ends With You, hands down, one of the best, greatest DS games ever made. You should forget everything else and go buy it right now.

And my final suggestion for the night is:

Shmup, Bangai-O Spirits. Rockets, Napalm. Homing-Napalm... Explosions, slowdown due to a huge array of explosions and missiles onscreen...
Good luck finding a copy.

Ooops, for some reason I thought it was a cane. And I didn't know it was a bowler hat. XD

I guess to give some more info on a few of the games I mentioned...

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized is a really fun FPS, which for a DS game is pretty damn epic, has pretty good graphics, and there's a nice variety of weapons, as well as stuff to do after you beat the game.
It features full Voice Overs and everything. The enemies have some interesting animations as well, they won't just pop out and shoot, they will run from cover to another spot to take cover while firing their gun at you single handed, or when you shoot them, they might drop to their knees and try to pop off a few last shots at you, they might even go into a "Last Stand" like position where they're down and take some shots at you.
This is all the same for World at War as well.

Assassin's Creed II Discovery is a Side-Scrolling action game, which features good graphics, full voice acting which is pretty good, some cool up close assassination type kills, and the combat is pretty good as well.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is a fun RPG which has nicely colored, and nicely animated sprites, as well as a wacky and humorous story, and features great writing, it's about 24 Hours long, but there's still some other things you can do even after you beat the game.

Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks is really fun, it has a fun, and epic story, the train is really fun to use, the graphics are some of the best on the DS, the bosses are sweet, along with the dungeons, the music is pretty good. Also, what pissed me off about Phantom Hourglass is that when you beat a dungeon you had to go back to this stupid temple and had to go through 3 puzzle floors I believe, and then when you beat another dungeon you go back to the temple, do the 3 puzzle floors you've already done, as well as the next 3 for the dungeon you just beat, and so on, they fixed that in Spirit Tracks. You just take a staircase to the next set of puzzle floors.

Scribblenauts is a really fun puzzle/platforming game. You have a notebook, and whatever you type into it, it will appear in game, you use whatever you can think of to solve the puzzle at hand. It's also really fun to screw around with too. Do you want god? You can get him! Do you want a Mini-Gun? You can get one! Do you want philosoraptor? You can get him too! Do you want god wielding a mini-gun, riding on philosoraptor, and fighting Cthulu? You can do that too!

Someone I met recently noticed I was playing this and said he was going to say something bad about me playing it but couldn't really since he was playing Fire Emblem. I don't think we can be friends any more. So yes, that definitely. Also:

Rondo of Swords: Like Fire Emblem, but you run through enemies damage them, except when using magic or bows. You also can run through allies to get boosts or recover health. There are two different paths to take and they are both pretty unique. You also get to keep all the skill points on your second playthrough.

Advance Wars Days of Ruin: I hope I don't need to explain this to you. Much darker than previous games in the series.

Final Fantasy III and IV

The Phoenix Wright trilogy and Apollo Justice

I am fourthing Hotel Dusk.

I tried to play The World Ends With You, I couldn't really get into it. I just didn't like how all the main characters were white as snow, and skinny as a tooth-pick, and then it's like the main character was trying to be a pricky asshole most of the time. My friend loves it though. XD
But yes. Hotel Dusk. Get it.

I'm glad that we all agree that Hotel Dusk is amazing.

@Hail: It seems I never did it the first time (presumably I looked it up online). I did it the second time, though.

@Yut: He changes fairly early on, and I can relate to how he feels. Also the fighting system is the most innovative I have ever seen. It's the only one that uses both screens fully and simultaneously without being impossible. The only difference I would have made was to be able to retry a fight one difficulty level lower, rather than just Easy, which requires no skill whatsoever.

Oh yeah, I agree on the combat system, just couldn't get into the story, characters, et cetera.
Oh, and how long is Hotel Dusk? I haven't beat it yet. I'm a bit after the part where Melissa threw her doll at that other woman.
Speaking of Hotel Dusk, the guys who made that are making another game similar to it.

EDIT: Wait, it's a sequel. It's called "Last Window: Midnight Promises" in Japan. It takes place in Los Angeles in 1980, and Kyle finds himself in the Cape West Apartments.

Ralion, you did the right thing!
And I second Rondo of Swords, but once again, good luck on finding a copy.

Yut, I don't think we can be friends anymore... Anyone who doesn't fully like TWEWY must be more evil than I.
But since you mentioned a sequel to Hotel Dusk, I may make an exception.

I'm glad that we all agree that Hotel Dusk is amazing.

How irritated were you when you had to get the letter under the safe. >C

Was that the one where you could only get half of the letter?
Curse those puzzles... And if I remember, that was one of the ones that had me scratching my head.

I also second Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

So, I should probably post a list of my games. A star next to it means I've spent a ridiculous amount of time playing it.

Bangai-O spirits (This game is like a puzzle game in action game form with it's ridiculousness.)
Chrono Trigger*
Cooking Mama 1-3 (For the girl, I swear)
Disgaea DS
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy Tactics A2*
Front Mission
Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands
Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure*
Kirby Squeak Squad*
Kirby Super Star Ultra*
Legacy of Ys: Books 1 and 2
Lock's Quest
Lost Magic
Luminous Arc
Lunar Knights
Lux-Pain (I don't really like it, honestly. It's barely a game.)
Mazes of Fate (Ugh, Awful.)
Metal Slug 7
New Super Mario Bros.
Phantasy Star 0
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney*
Pokemon Ranger*
Pokemon Platinum*
Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity
Professor Layton and the Curious Village*
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (Just got it, probably soon to be starred)
Puzzle Quest*
Rhythm Heaven*
Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon
Scribblenauts*
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
Sonic Rush
Summon Night: Twin Age
Super Princess Peach
Tetris DS
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
The Legendary Starfy
The World Ends with You (I've had it for a while, I put it down then never really had the urge to pick it back up. I liked it, but eh.)
WarioWare: Touched!
and finally, Yoshi's Island DS

@HK: B-but a game can't just tear us apart like that! Remember that time we jacked Old Man Palpatines Star Destroyer? He was so pissed! Don't you remember the good old times, man?! Now you just want to get rid of me over a DS game! T_T
