Physical appearance: Julia is average in the looks department, with short dirty blond hair and soft baby blue eyes, the only thing above average about her at all is her smile; Soft and caring, a smile that warms and reassures that everything will be alright, even if everything seems to be quickly getting out of hand. Julia wears an old kevlar vest with a neck protector, over a plain black padded long sleeve shirt. A pair of army surplus military combats adorn her lower body and these have had some mild modifications done to them ( including a Kevlar weave in the groin and calf region (came with the pants.) and some mild padding on the outer thigh region.(after she bought them.) Julia also prefers to wear a pair of steel toed construction boots she bought, however only after she replaced the old insoles with some better gel insoles did she wear them everywhere she went. Finally an old truckers cap adorns her head, which helps keep the sunlight out of her eyes during daytime scavenge raids.

-Large: Medic's kit(Gauze, Morphine, butterfly stitches, Medical tape, Alcohol swabs and aspirin lots of it.), Solid oak baseball bat
Personality: At first Julia comes off as a bit harsh but deep down, she's a caring individual with a strong maternal instinct that got her interested in being a paramedic in the first place. Always willing to tell the truth, Julia will stand up for what she believes in no matter the cost. Sometimes she comes off as being somewhat hurtful. It's not her fault, it's how she was raised; to tell the truth no matter how hurtful it may be to others around her. She also has a bit of a temper, which mostly devolves into swearing and shouting, especially if someone contradicts her on something she knows to be right. Julia can be a bit hotheaded at times, always willing to rush in to try and save someones life, no matter the danger. She's nearly been killed twice doing this but she regards those incidents as an acceptable risk, as long as she can save someones life
History: Julia doesn't remember much before the outbreak, save that her father died to protect his family fat lot of good that did. Her mother died trying to go back for him but she was caught by the encroaching horde of undead and was devoured. The screams still haunt Julia's dreams. She traveled across the united states, grouping up with anyone else that could use a medic for the most part it was nice being with others regardless of them being strangers. She felt safe and secure, that is until one would be survivor tried to force himself upon her. She then knew not all survivors could be trusted. That was when she met him, during the struggle she heard a loud crunch and the mass atop her went limp. At first she didn't know what happened, until something warm dribbled down onto her and a hand reached down to help her up, it seems another survivor had happened upon the scene and rushed to her aid. With one swift blow he drove his baseball bat into the back of her would be rapist's skull, crushing it on impact. The man's name was James Macmillan, a rather rough looking fellow and for the first few months, it was an awkward relationship.
They went across the wastelands, searching high and low for other survivors other people they could team up with and increase their chances for survival, yet all they found where corpses, both dead and alive it seems they were the only two people each other would see for quite some time but they made the most of it. With James teaching her a few moves from what he learned in judo prior to the outbreak and she teaching him, to patch himself up more effectively if he gets hurt. They went on for months, traveling far and wide looting shopping marts for provisions that haven't been grabbed up early in the outbreak. was good being a small two person group, meant they wouldn't attract lots of unwanted attention and it made rationing food and water supplies easier, they became inseparable after being with each other for five hard long months, they thought like one singular individual, perfectly synced they executed daring raids in what they regarded as yellow and red zones; places that were virtually untouched in terms of supplies they came out ahead, Julia getting her hands on a nice little pistol and a decently sized hip flask she uses to hold water and a decently sized med kit from the back of an overturned ambulance.
But not all things will go according to plan all the time all it took was one botched scavenge run and she lost James. The loss struck her like a steam truck full of concrete and for along time she wandered aimlessly looking for someone or something to fill the gap the only thing she had to remember James by was his baseball bat. The one thing that saved her life countless times, had a lot of sentimental value to it, she stuck to safer green zones for the longest time. Scraping together just enough food, water and ammo to keep herself alive and well. Things looked bleak quite a few times during her excursions but after awhile things began to get better after awhile certain green zones were almost completely purged of zombies, which indicated survivors but still she remained weary as she didn't know if these people were friendly or hostile. So for awhile she followed the trail of dead bodies, trying to find where they would lead her she needed the comfort of others, she craved it to no end at this point it got bad that she didn't care if they were hostile she just wanted human contact.
It took her a few weeks of picking the scraps that were left behind, but she found where she needed to go. A fortified apartment building taking the risk, she shouted out trying to get someone's attention and it worked. Within moments a ladder was extended and she took the opportunity and clambered on up the fire escape, to be greeted by several other survivors at first she was nervous a bit tongue tied but it didn't take long before she broke down crying after all these months her walls broke down and she slumped to the ground crying happy to have found some semblance of humanity amongst the death and decay that had taken over everyone's lives. But for now, she was just happy and glad to finally be someplace safe, without having to worry about becoming something's next meal.
(If anything's out of place sarge lemme know and I'll get to fixing it, once I get fed and caffeinated.)
