So, incase you didn't know Nintendo is remaking the greatest pokemon games evar! Gold and Silver have been transformed into awesomeness know as Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
They come out in March 2010, and I want to get one so badly, I'm thinking it crosses the line of willing to slaughter my school of 1300 students to get one...

okay, so since boomstick is fucking retarded, there isn't much more I can do really. I didn't buy the new ones cause they weren't good, but I'm buying this one because it's such a huge part of my childhood memories.

Basically, it's the updates that keep people coming back, however small they may be. The gameplay is still as addictive and fun as it was in the first games, if not moreso.

Pretty much. There are some thing in this game that haven't even been thought of in previous games. Plus an update on the graphics is also a good thing. Also, I would like to play this on my DS since I no longer have a functional gameboy and both Gold and Silver games are corrupted. ;A;
That and this was the only game that allowed to go to a different region. I think all the games should have this feature, but whatever.

Yep. You can battle all the original Gym members and the original Elite four. AND if you got through all the credits, you can battle Red. It is quite hella awesome. |

i only liked the first games.
red, blue, green yellow.
these are the proper colours!
my first was red, and i had a pirated version (cause you know, an original gameboy game by that time was in poland Very expensive)
i couldnt save, so i passed the game in one pass:D
but then i got a properly working version, and got the time to enjoy it:D
