We're having another movie night at my friend's house tomorrow, and I want to rent the scariest movie I can think of, to scare a girl I know. So, what is the scariest movie you can think of? Can you give a brief plot, or link to one? Thanks a bunch, guys.  |

Aside from some of the ones mentioned: The Eye 1 and 2, One Missed Call 1 and 2, Eraserhead (more disturbing than scary, but it produces the same effect), The Abandoned, House On Haunted Hill. It all really depends on the type of horror. Personally I've grown wary of the "boo" factor. I need to feel like I've gone insane and experience disturbing things that screw with your head. But other people don't like that. So it's really a hit or miss situation. |

Well, since it's a big group, less subtle horror films tend to be best.
I ended up renting The Strangers; I've heard it was really scary...

In general, I loved it. I loved how often you'd just see the people in the background, but it didn't specifically focus on them; I didn't notice him until a few seconds later, and it startled the crap out of me. The three biggest things I didn't like about it: They WAY overdid the 'OMG she was just there a second ago' thing, the husband was just GONE most of the movie, and the ending was disappointing. They just... stabbed them. That's it. I still really liked it, though. I liked how it didn't try to explain any of it; it was just some messed up people looking for shits and giggles. Also, it's GREAT for scaring a girl into getting closer to you...  /creeper |

I've seen one Night in Chyna....other than her having a clit the size of a baby penis it was fairly well done. Much better than Paris Hilton's tape.
