PP: my birthday is coming up. Usually it sucks, but this year shit seems to be building up
first day of weekend i have an 8 hour + exam lecture to get some silly electrical certificate. then on the next day i have my cousins comunion(this catholic weird thing).
my side of family is atheist, but for them its important, so we will come, but the entire day is screwed.
biggest PP of mine:
Grandma is very sick, and refuses to go to the hospital. also, she told the doctor that comes to her home to sod off, and so she did to a nurse. this may suck on my part, but i have a nasty feeling that she will die on my birthday. And dear lord, she puts a huge strain on everybody in my family- that may be not bad, after all the point of having a family is to help each other, but come on, doctors are to help you, not to murder you in your sleep. Also to not to make my family seem like insensitive pricks- every day, at least three people visit her to help, all (well, not all, my other grandma helps her too) while having other duties.
on a brighter note:
AP: last one and a half of week had been quite ok, if you take the grandma part out.

PP: Haven't been sleeping well lately. This whole car (lack of) and work (unable to get to) situation has me stressed to the point I'm having a hard time falling asleep. I have never had sleep problems due to stress before, and I never would have guessed that being at home would cause me more stress than being at school.
PP #2: I have an ear infection. It's like I'm 12 years old again.

PP: Malware... My computer got hit with some on Wednesday, while I was in the can, OF COURSE, so Microsoft Security Essentials shut down everything, rebooted the computer, and murdered the malware. I got back to find out that the malware had run off with all my start menu icons, my desktop background, and then got killed by MSE. So that was irritating but not too damaging, and after a few hours of running scans to make sure everything really was dead, etc. I got to spend my time putting back shortcuts and the like. No big deal, except for the time wasted, or so I thought... Then I found out that when MSE rebooted my system, I lost all my unsaved work that I'd been doing on the translation project. Blarhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... The translation project has had way more setbacks than it needs  |

PP: So, after only three weeks, I've lost my job, I didn't meet standards, they told me. Apparently I don't work fast enough, that's a real bummer, and on top of losing my job, I think I've lost a friend too, so I'm in a pretty shitty mood now.

What kind of standards is that exactly? That seems like a fishy and suspicious way of firing someone, tbh. (pizza chains don't have standards. This is also my opinion) And if they wanted you to work faster, then they should have trained you proper. It takes more than three weeks and constant supervision to get a pizza that they should want it to be. If they thought that, then they should have moved you to at least answer phones or work the oven. PP: I have gotten used to watching shows on netflix so much that when I go and try to watch a new show (legend of korra) I get irritated that I have to wait next week for an episode #firstworldproblems |

Honestly, when you're doing work, you've got to get what you've got to get done as fast as and as accurately as you can. The place I'm working at now fired people about two and a half weeks in for not being able to keep up, and I was already at the point of "Fucking good, they were slow as shit" when they were gone. Learn quickly, or, if you can't, bullshit it until you do.
