PP: Went to take my Driver's Knowledge test in town today, went in, turns out since its a day off there were several other kids wanting to take the test. The tests are taken on a computer terminal. There are only two, and one was down. So I have to save it for next week or something. :l

PP: I miss the days before the great server crash, when the RPs flowed like water. And I spent more time here than any other site. I don't really know what changed, I just started coming more and more infrequently. I didn't stop liking the place, I just...forgot? But that sounds callous, I guess I don't know. 

PP2: I still get peeved when I remember all the great RPs that started, but then just stopped. I had a dream related to Those Left Behind, I wanted to make it into a Webcomic, but I currently lack the art skills anyway. Such are dreams!

I think the hardest part of doing an online RP is the lack of people involved. At least back then people were on the site everyday so it was able to work. But now everyone has less time to do stuff online and all that junk. I think if there were more people that frequent the form, there could be a possibility of a reformed RP stuff. But, for now, it's not gonna happen here. I suggest you look over at TLO's WIFOM page. They have some pretty decent RPs over there [if you are not over there already]. I wish I could say that I have been thinking of an RP, but in honesty I haven't because there's a lack of interest and my RPs are pretty much heavily story based, etc. tl; dr. Ya dig? Bottom line? Might have to look elsewhere for online RPs. :c

PP: West coast baseball games. I wake up, turn on the TV at 1:00 and fully expect there to be a game starting. But lolnope, it's west coast so it doesn't start until 3:15 EST.

PP: Curse Uni, I have the strongest urge to just go out and film some stuff so I can mess around with After Effects even more (after getting re-inspired by freddiew), but if I do anything other than assignments right now then I'm not going to finish them on time >:|

PP: Music player on xbox. It takes a good 5 minutes to load songs off my USB thumbdrive, and it only ends up playing 30 of the 200-something I have on there.

PP: The GM for my shadowrun game told us that after about 3 more weeks with our current characters, we're switching to an advanced team and letting our characters go. I don't really want to do that, I really like the character that I made, and I put a lot of time and thought into him and his backstory. Of course, the way the GM runs games, he's pretty much pointless. I'm essentially a D&D ranger, I walk around with the group and take potshots from fifteen feet away with a sniper rifle. I made him the kind of character that can get his way up into a really awkward spot and keep an eye on the entire building, and made sure to give him the kind of weaponry that will put someone down through a wall or two, but I haven't even kind of had an opportunity to do anything like that.

PP2: The GM is also telling us that we're supposed to be a team, as in "driver, brick, medic, face, blah blah blah", but then also is telling us not to work into specializing too much. Umm... Isn't that the point of a team? If I'm a sniper/medic/demolitionist/driver/medic, why do I need a group of other "specialists" who aren't particularly amazing at anything specific?

PP3: Every time I ask my GM about anything mechanicwise in regards to character creation, I get this bullshit ass speech about roleplayers not actually caring about making a character and only wanting to powergame. According to him, I need to have a character concept before I work with any kind of numbers or anything. Or even know what I can actually do.

So, I want a shaman who can turn himself into full blown Power-AIDS and fly through the air, infecting all of my enemies, killing them seconds later. Also, my intimidation is so high, if I need to do an extraction, I fly through the building, kill everyone, and then intimidate my target into walking to where I tell him to go.

Guh. Fucking LARPers.
