PP: Friday, I have to do lunch rush, drive northbound to my DM's store, get certified to open by myself and then drive myself through heavy traffic to get to dinner rush. I basically will have about a 13 hour shift on Friday. And I won't get paid for gas. ;a; pfft. -hail bitches about her job-

PP: My new job starts tomorrow, working fridays to mondays. For the first two days, it's 0700-1400. That'd be fine, I'd happily work those hours. Then after that it switches to 1400-2200. That is not so good. Means I'll not be able to go to any of the roleplaying games I'm in, I won't be able to go to the re-enactment training sessions or volunteer at the heritage centre and I'll be seeing very little of my girlfriend. Plus, it's an hour and twenty minutes each way to get there and back. Oh, and by all accounts the work itself is horrible- hot working conditions, few breaks, bastards to work for. And all this for minimum wage. Whoop di fuck.
EDIT- Oh yeah, and I'll be working on both halloween and bonfire night, so no fun for me.

I can get how you feel , I pretty much only work at night time (I didn't ask for it, its how they rostered me), and as I work every weekend it fucking sucks because I never get to go out. And it sucks even more because the nature of my job has me seeing people who do go out while I'm stuck in the same place every weekend, and the rest of the year isn't available for N/A'ing. |

PP: My new job starts on Hallowe'en. One week of training: 15:00 to 23:00. After that it's any 8 hours between 08:00 and 21:00, 5 days out of 7, not necessarily getting 2 consecutive days off. For the glorious sum of £6.18 an hour. But this time I'm "Back Office" phonemonkey and not "Front Office". So last year people phoned up to scream "Where's my fucking delivery?!?" and I ha to deal with it, this year someone else gets that and calls me and I deal with delivery slots and couriers. Joy. I think.

PP : This trip to Paris is turning from "LOL, Awesome" to a real Way of the Cross : We won't be visiting the places I want to go and we're going to a lame Halloween party, which means I only have ONE DAY to find/make a costume... I seriously lack of motivation on this one...

PP: Got a nasty blister last night from Minute Rice last night. Yeah, instant microwave rice, steam burned like a bitch. Had to hold it under cold water all night, and if I took it out of the water, burning pain shot through my entire hand. Blister popped today at work, so I've had a bandaid on most of the day, seems fine now though. But my god it really REALLY hurt last night. xD
