PP: I only remember to do stuff at four in the morning. Little things like, "Download the soundtrack to Portal 2" or "Wasn't I supposed to look up the changes to the National Savings account you have that are hitting in May so you can't put money in/take it out of the Post Office any more?". Which only takes a couple of hours.

PP1 : PC is seriously overheating (I can't play most games for more than an hour) and space bar is almost dead. Since I need it for most of my classes, looks like I will have to play it safe for now. Upgraded BIOS and stuff to no avail. PP2 : Students' unions being one more time massive pricks. When the CROUS (state office in charge of scholarship grants) had heavy issues, that was their reaction : http://i3.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/006/707/nothing-to-do-here-template.jpg.scaled500.jpg, they left students in serious need of help on their own and ignored any attempts to contact them. When there was major failures in the heating system (during winter), they weren't there for us. When there were major concerns of unfair treatement of results in the Chemistry section, they weren't here for us. And yet, they still take a heavy toll on the University's finances ? And yet, for a month we recieved non-stop 20 emails (NOT JOKING) per day asking to vote for them ? And yet, they give themselves false credit for the outstanding work of the University's administration through these crisis ? Furthermore, the vast majority of them are (or were) eithed accused of cheating and other shady activities (some obtained diploma without being present at finals, or at all) Fuck them, seriously. No wonder everyone in the Uni hates them. |

I built my computer about 3 years ago and while I've done my best to keep it clean and dust the inside out every now and then I still ended up having problems. So Friday I popped the fan that sits directly on my heat sink off, and there was a solid layer of dust that no amount of air could have possibly gotten rid of, like 1/8th of an inch thick. After removing that my computer not only runs perfect again but its silent as well. PP: Not that it needs saying, but I'm gonna anyways: its Monday. |

Hell, Yahoo! Answers and sites like that have "Not-knowing-what-google-itis" all over the place. Yahoo also has a friggin' search engine, and a specific search engine to search for old questions within Yahoo Answers.

That happened to me a while ago, it was trying to force me to log in as my old xbox live name, and it wasn't working. I had to delete all of the profile information and re-enter everything fresh. |
