PP: Taxes. Still waiting to hear back from the accountant as to what the damage is this year. Kinda expected to hear back before, y'know, the day before they're due... As far as college/life/etc. goes, I went to college because it was expected, and wound up enlisting in the Army after three years. I went back afterwards and finished my degree. I really wasn't ready the first time around. Yutz, I don't know where you live, but have you considered maybe a government or civil or military service? I wouldn't say that the Army is for everyone, but there are other programs that you could work in that might be more in tune with what you want to do. Military service, in the US at least, is a great way to get some money in your pocket and make sure that you're not saddled with student debt later in life. And on the other hand, the Peace Corps, for example, gives time off and pays room and board while you're serving with them, as well as a (modest) bonus when your time is completed. They apparently offer some sort of student loan repayment/deferment as well, though I have no idea how that works exactly. If you're not sure what to do with yourself, it can't hurt to serve society and/or make the world a better place in the meantime. If nothing else, it may provide you with a look at various jobs you Never Want To Do Ever Again And trust me, saying "I don't ever want to dig ditches again" can be great motivation in college later.

PP: I wanted to post in a thread on here but it hasn't been posted in since December. I do actually have stuff to add, not just going, LOLZ or something like that but I don't want to necro it cause that'd suck.

Cheez is right. If it pertains to the thread and you are putting input into it, it is safe to necro the thread. Think it says it in the rules.

If you're serious about it, talk to a recruiter Here in the US, at least, the point of training is to get you into shape. Granted there's a minimum standard, but it's pretty minimal.

Right. Problem is I am NOT in the best physical shape. I can't even do a pushup. Lately I've been doing exercises every other day, a set of 15 half pushups (It's all I can manage), and 15 crunches, as well as four laps around our property.

Well, I was all alone, and now my girlfriend of 4 years has left me. Now I've got nobody. Everyone in my life is the same, text on the other side of a computer screen. I need contact, I need a hug. I'm so fucking alone, and I don't want to do this any more.
*another power hug* Pretty much same thing here. Does any of your friends live anywhere near?

No. The closest friend I have is two hours away, and he's constantly busy and can't drive, and I have no way to get anywhere but work.
