One: went to uni (college) straight out of school - and dropped out of Year II due to serious burn out. DO NOT do further education directly out of school as it messes you up. Seriously. Old man talkin' here.
I've gone straight through from college (high school) to uni (college) and now in my 4th year I am starting to wind down, but I'm pretty sure it's because I know I'm finished in a matter of months. I've also been guaranteed a job when I finish. Also you can work and study at the same time to make sure you have some work experience as well as a degree, I've been doing so for the last 7 years. Guess what I'm trying to say that it is different for everyone, and you need to do what you feel is best for you, not what other's think is best for you. Although in saying that I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I did want to have a gap year, but my parents convinced me to go back to continue on, I listened, and in the end they were obviously right. Anyways back on track.. PP- Being sick all the time!! So over it. |

Know how you feel. Dropped out of my degree in Instrumentation & Applied Physics due to Applied Maths. I mean where the FUCK does the Square Root of Minus One come from?!? No, seriously, was this a joke Tesla cooked up with H P Lovecraft or something? PP: The Square Root of Minus One. That right there proves that God is a Crazy Woman and Her name is Eris. I mean it has no existence in the physical world and yet it describes physical phenomena. It's not a ratio of this to that, this divided by that, or even a property of this or that. It was part of Pure Maths (y'know, that crazy stuff that created The Monster) for years and then one day someone said, "Oh. It predicts AC circuit output. No idea why. But it works so sod the explanations." and so it became Applied Maths. I mean how, by The Bouncy Boobs of Eris, can you rotate reality by 90 degrees?!? You can't dump that on someone who's being trained to think logically. I mean quantum theory at least makes SENSE! /rant |

"Oh, hey, it's been a while, let's just drag all those feelings back up!" Fuck that. Fucking stupid shit. Some people want to talk it over. Some of us just want to fucking move on, and I thought maybe, maybe one person I know is intelligent enough to fucking pick up on that. NOPE GUESS NOT.
And who in the everloving righteous fuck started telling people that "Yeah, I know you're miserable, but I remember this one time that this happened to me and it was pretty awful. Like, really awful. Like, what you're going through isn't really that bad compared to this." is a real way to fucking talk to another person? Jesus fucking christ, sometimes I just want to stomp my fucking phone to peices.
