PP: I'm so weak, physically. I can't manage a single pushup. I've been doing exercises and stuff to help myself get stronger, but it doesn't feel like I'm doing them right. I've been doing half pushups for awhile, I can do 30 of those, but why not one full one? I watched some videos last night on how to properly do a pushup, I kept trying and trying, but I only keep on falling and hurting myself. I really wanna get stronger, but my body feels like it's against me.

Do as many as you can every day. Every day. And when I say as many, I mean as many sit ups, push ups, pull ups, whatever as you can. Start eating better, no more pizza, no more shit. I used to spend all day lazing around playing video games, and I still do, except now I mix things up a bit and get off my fat ass and do something healthy. I can already fit into my old jeans. But man, it's fucking hard. It's really fucking hard. You think it's hard to say no to free pizza? Try eating some salad, then getting high, then saying no to free pizza. THAT'S FUCKING DEVOTION. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING, I JUST RAN TWO UPHILL MILES FOR MY FIRST TIME RUNNING, WHY ARE MY LUNGS ON FIRE.

I've been doing that. I'm TRYING to eat healthier, but none of this healthy food fills me up! At least not what we have. I'm also doing alternating between exercises. I do 30 half pushups and 30 crunches one day, jog the next, and so forth.

DOOOOOO IIITTTTTT! You slow down when you GET THERE. Slowed down is MAINTENANCE! And you don't get to get filled up any more! Do you think my fatty fat fat stomach liked getting a small salad for lunch? NO. It wanted PIZZA. But I gave it SALAD and some NUTS. Then told it to go FUCK ITSELF!
HRAAUGGHH! *Throws computer*
Edit: I forgot that I also ate AN ORANGE! HRAAUGUGUUGHH!

Well I figure if I do my upper body work outs one day, the day I go for my jog serves as time for my muscles to heal, and then vice versa.

If you're not getting anywhere, why do you keep doing it the same way?

Nah I only just recently decided on giving this new method a try. It was suggested by some friends. What I had been doing prior was every other day I would get up, do a set of 30 half pushups, 30 crunches, and then go for a jog, doing 9 laps around our property. It was mainly the pushups that I was a bit stumped on, theres a bazillion different variations of them, and everybody says "This way is the best" or "This way is even better". This is the kind of push-up I've been doing: I've only been going at these workouts for about a month and a half or so, but I'm not sure how effective this method of push-up is vs others. I would think that if I can do 30 half push-ups, I would be able to do one full one, but I can't. I dunno, it's all so frustrating.

I would suggest that it is very important to increase your heart rate for at least 20 minutes every day, on top of whatever strengthening exercises you do. The way I lost my near 20kgs was all to do with cardio and eating healthy. I swear I lost 5kgs alone from taking migorang noodles out of my diet. I also have found that I have put about 4kgs on since including strength work into my workout, but my measurements have changed very little, which shows that going by weight is not always the best in terms of getting healthier.
In the end your diet is probably what is going to change the outcome of the work you are doing the most. Drink heaps of water/green tea (not the sugary ice stuff either!), as this helps with keeping you feeling full, and increases metabolism. Your workouts, including your strength ones should always leave you sweaty and smelly, otherwise you are not pushing yourself enough to make any great deal of change. Start also going by time rather than repetitions. So for example you are saying that your doing 30 pushups and so on, instead, see how many pushups you can do in 5 minutes, and improve on that. Also, mixing it up every workout, such as doing 5 minutes pushups, 5 minutes of a cardio activity (skipping, running, etc), another 5 minutes of crunches, 5 minutes of cardio again, and finish off with another 5 minutes of situps will give you better results.
I guess a main thing when it comes to strengthening, if your muscles are not on fire/dying by the end of the workout, if your are still able to do more repetitions, then you aren't actually creating muscle, just working what you already have. PP- This stupid assessment thing is taking forever, took 3 days to do one section, and there are 7 sections >.> I'm screwed!

We may fail alone, but that is better than dying with them, only to be forgotten. I for one, would rather suffer now, than leave this life without passion.

YesterAP: Gonna go to bed early tonight, and wake up early to do some shit that I needed to do months ago. BrainPP: Fuck that. Wake up when you usually go to bed, can't get back to sleep, sleep past your alarm; "Why, good morning you fuckity fuck." That's what I get for trying to sleep early.
