PP: I don't want to buy Arma 2, but I want the DayZ mod really bad.
Related PP: If I had known DayZ was an Arma 2 mod when Arma 2 was 75% off for Steam's summer sale I would have bought it then.

Same here. I wish I had looked at this stuff earlier. You can play it if you only buy the DLC, but it's still 20 bucks, and you get a downgraded version of Arma 2.
I guess there's a version that can be played with only the free version of Arma 2, but it's an old test release.

I plan on saving up for to build a gaming PC so I can run Arma 2 and play Day Z. The dev of Day Z is talking about making it a standalone game too.

Yeah, I've been told that DayZ will eventually be its own game. How long that will take though...

PP: People make me feel like a damn hipster. I hated Chick-fil-a before it was cool...
What really pisses me off is that all of my friends I told them this shit for years, and every single one of them had nearly the same reaction "I don't care what a company does with their money, they make good food". Now they're all saying the opposite of "Besides being an evil company, they also have shitty food"

But Chick-fil-A is delicious. PP: Paying as much for shipping as the item cost. New side mirror for my truck: $12. Shipping: $11

AP2: My TZH book came a couple days ago, and it's nice to be able to see all the little details without getting a headache from getting too close to the monitor. AP: This reminds me I have yet to recieve my book, which I preordered. It's been so long I'd completely forgotten about it. I assume the same must have happened with Greg and Jenny, I'll send an email now I think. PP: I have yet to recieve my book, which I preordered. It's been so long I'd completely forgotten about it. ;_; Considering I paid over four times the amount of money I currently have for that book, I really would like it soon.

PP: It's been two, almost three weeks since I put in the application at that hardware store, and the guy said they'd start calling people within the next week when I handed in my application, so I can only assume they didn't consider me.
I don't get it. I mean, I've worked for three years at the same job and my boss will tell you I'm one of the hardest and most reliable workers she's had. I won't be in classes this semester so I can work whenever. But if a company isn't gonna consider someone for a job, they could at LEAST give them a phone call to say "Sorry, but you're not exactly what we're looking for right now."

PP: I was re-reading a thread since the beginning and god we've lost a lot of our key members (since I started here) to now. It's kind of weird to go back and see names of people you haven't seen in years.
