Im not really even sure what our laws about speech are. I know members of westboro baptist church are banned from here because they only say hateful stuff, and Fox News doesn't broadcast here because it's illegal to lie on the news.

We may not have total freedom of speech, but I don't really mind, these people I hear about in America who go around using and abusing their freedoms to say hateful and hurtful things don't deserve to have those rights, it's the 21st century, Black people are people like you or me, not all middle eastern people are terrorists, and the Jews aren't taking all your money.

I thought that's illegal here too. I could be wrong. From what I remember from my government class seven or eight years ago, yes you can say anything you want; you just can't legally slander. I think it's so stupid that some 'Merikans here think they know their rights, but they don't know the extent of them. PP: Yet again, we've grown more than we can get canned or eat or give away, so some of the produce has gone to waste. Doesn't help that the deer neighbors break into the fence of one of the gardens and takes a bite here and there. Can't exactly sit out all night with a flashlight and a BB gun (my parents wouldn't let me even if I wanted to). |
