Hey, at least that'll heal more quickly than the big bruise I have underneath the nail of my big toe. I hit my toe really hard running up some stairs in either August or September. I couldn't wear regular shoes for several weeks because it put too much pressure on the toe, so I just wore crocs. For a while, the skin underneath the nail was a pretty green color. Now it's blackish, and doesn't look like it's going to go away anytime soon. I can't use that toe to scratch my opposite leg because it feels like the nail is being bent back a bit.

I almost wish I could trade "toe injuries". lol

This one time, I was playing beach soccer at stradbroke island, and as I was kicking the ball I kicked my toe ridiculously hard on a rock hidden beneath the sand. So I was disabled for a few minutes because it hurt like a bitch, but the thing is, my toes are shit, and I frequently hit them hard enough that I think they are broken, when really they're not even bruised. So I thought this instance was just another one of those times. Then, a few weeks later, a nice big lump started growing on that toe and it started hurting. So I saw the doctor, he did an x-ray, and it turns out that the toe was broken and there was a fragment of bone that was "floating" away from the main bone, and since I had left it for a few weeks, the flesh had grown around it. So I had a broken toe for several weeks and I didn't even notice, and now there is a massive lump of flesh-bone on my toe.

PP: The weather! Wtf! It is literally switching from windy and (heavy)rainy and cold, to hot and sunny and humid, every 30 minutes or so. Make up your mind mother nature! Will it be rain or shine?!
