PP: Got yelled at by one of the foremen for scavenging wood out of one of the skips at work. Gah, why are these people so bitchy about me risking stepping on a nail or owt? If I do it's my own bloody fault. Go to the sawbones, get patched up, limp for a bit, end of story. Not like it'll effect them in any way.
I blame this annoying sueing culture that's sprung up recently. That, crazily heightened health and safety and governmental attempts at nannying the people are what's making this country rather crappy. Gah, I ask you, criticising a chap for exercising his natural scavenging instinct AND saving landfill space and council money while he's at it. Whatever next?

That'd surprise me. Besides, a nail through the foot wouldn't stop me working. A few years back I had a pair of boots where a nail was sticking through the heel but I couldn't find it. Despite my left foot looking like I had a stigma, I kept wearing those boots every day for about three months.

PP: This whole 'cyberbullying' thing. I think it's getting blown WAY out of proportion. Yeah, for the kids it happens to, it sucks. But these articles I see make it seem like every kid has been victimized. I don't know a single person who has been cyberbullied, unless you count them taking naked pics and those pictures getting circulated.

PP: Translators in online manga who make the characters of whatever manga seem like weaboos by not actually fully translating.
When the kanji says "cute", you translate it to CUTE! You DON'T write "Kawaii"! And for gods sakes, if you absolutely MUST do that then at least REFRAIN from writing in the actual translation of the word right under it!

Why does it bother me?(aside from the obvious animal cruelty)
A close up picture of the dead cat was smeared all over the front page of the internet newspaper I read.
They also posted a picture of the cat when it was a kitten. And the cat is of the same race as mine.
