I do. I need a new frigging computer. I need a desktop, because this piece of shit laptop, though it has been good to me, has outlived it's usefulness. It has 512mb RAM and an Intel Centrino....like the first generation of Centrinos

Ah shitty. But don't fret about wasting money on the orange box on a computer that doesn't run it. If you get a new computer, you can install steam on the new one and sign in, and download the orange box on that one, which is handy. The only problem is getting said computer. XD
I need a new one too, I can either pay somebody to fix my dads old laptop, which could run Call of Duty 1, and possibly TF2, but for all I know it might not even be fixable, so I don't know.

Yes. And I don't get any error messages. It just freezes when I start connecting to a server. I get like part-way thorugh the loading of the server connection, and everything just stops.
Some servers just take AGES to connect to (ten minutes some times), try putting the graphics down too in case it's freezing while trying to load the choose a team screen. |

it's not slow in connecting it just completely freezes my computer....gonna defrag tonight, and do a disk cleanup as well.

It might also have something to do with your internet connection, I know some games have problems with different connections.

Damn, I remember one time I was playing TF2, and I was killed by a Sentry, and when the screenshot thing came up, It was the most perfect shot to take, but I hadn't set a screenshot button yet. I was so pissed, it was a once in a lifetime screen shot oppurtunity.
So, it was on 2Fort, and I was a Pyro I believe, in Red Base, and theres that one square hole where you can drop from one of the upper levels, and there were like, 2 turrets up there, I was killed by the turret, and it zooms in on it, you can see the engy standing right behind the turret with his wrench.
And who is it you see right over the engy's shoulder? A spy from my team disguised as another engy! It looked so perfect, just some engy minding his own business, with some spy lurking over his shoulder!

I also remember seeing a soldier that got kill by an arrow to the gnads. It counted as a headshot though, cause valve fucked up the hitboxes at some point.
