You are suggesting quite a challenge here! I'd have more success if I stayed away from the tweezers for a week and allowed the uni to grow back. Then you'd feel the extent of my power!

I believe he said the helmet survived three wars, not himself personally. My step grandfather however served in both WW1 and WW2. The twist here being that for WW1 he was drafted by the Russian military because he was tall for his age (15) and only given a staff with a bayonet on it (rifles were given to "real" soldiers) and sent into the trenches. By WW2 his family had left the motherland for US. I always regretted that he passed on before I was old enough to really appreciate his stories and ask for more details.
