Whut

I always thought it was "Our jesus is cooler than your jesus we're leaving because we want our jesus."

Quoting this, though poorly because I haven't seen it in a while

I have no more TILs today. It's 1400 right now.

From what I learned, there was a bunch of reasons for a bunch of people... "Holland has FREEDOM??? Run!!!"

Hey, my first known Canadian ancestor left a rich family in France because he thought living as a nomad trapping beavers for fur would be thrilling. That's a crazy reason, but that's a reason! (or maybe the family kicked him out and he prefered to pretend he chose to leave not to look like a fool) (and my previous known ancestors made a habit of being burned as witches  Roll Eyes)

Not really. As long as you follow the laws, you're good, which are there to "protect the freedom of others", which now is kind of bullshit because of a ridiculous number of retarded laws/voters.

Thats not true, you still have Sok means juice in Polish Tongue

Yeah, it is a little unfortunate. As far as I know, around here they don't crack down that badly on parties, just tell them to break it up. Then again I'm not at these parties as I'm not that type of person, but I do like hearing some of the stories cause they can be funny.

The first cop that showed up was actually like that. He said that it was in any underage person's best interest to leave because there were nine state patrolmen coming to start checking IDs and breathalyzing people, so he let us get out as long as we had a sober driver.

But the drinking laws in this country are fucking retarded. The campus police here have nothing better to do than bust up parties. I guess that's what happens when you go to a small university. I'm actually writing a paper for my American government class about how lowering the drinking age would be better for this country.

TIL that because the school I go to is a state-run university, the campus police actually have the same power as state patrol officers as opposed to the same power as, say, city police or county deputies. That's probably why the city where the school is doesn't even have a city police force, it's just university cops and county deputies.

Meanwhile, Malawi makes farting an arrestable offense...

(but actually this may be journalist talk and the actual law may say something entirely different, that part wasn't clear)

So? Different and weird are pretty cool sometime, like well exhibit A: us. Like, come on, we're a pretty weird and different group here. Cultural diversity is great, cause well if everything was the same then that'd just be boring as fuck. Personally some of Canada's things are so-so and I would like to be as weird and different as possible, it's fun Tongue

Today I learned that some of my extended family are those people who say things that are from such an old way of thinking it pisses me off. Cause well calling a gay person, and I quote:

Just really really pisses me off.

I also learned that my Big Imperial Guard Army is going to take FOREVER! D=

The army list itself takes a few hours to write.

TIL that my best friend's friend told my friend's boyfriend that I was having sex with her (my friend). Ex-friend also told friend's boyfriend that friend was sleeping with two other guys, neither of whom have been in this state (or any state near Georgia) in the past year, and one of which spent the last twelve months in Afghanistan.

I wtf'd.

Just really really pisses me off.

My dad's like that. I don't really like it, but I don't let it get under my skin. It irrates me more when people make a big deal about political correctness for the sake of being politically correct (perfect example: calling black people 'african americans'. what if they AREN'T American citizens? What if they're a proud citizen of some African country?)

TIL that I got a flat on my way to class, and I don't have the money to fix it...and I have to drive 50 miles to get to class (and back). horrah...
