Today I learned that chalantly isn't a word, despite the fact that nonchalantly is. Also, one can apparently be disgruntled, but if they're feeling okay they're not gruntled. How is it English can have words mean something with a negative modifier, but isn't a word at all without the modifier? This I would like to learn. *Edit: <3 Google

I've learned how to fight procrastination by simple turning on something upbeat to distract the mind then start working on everything at once.
like working on college work, my fan story and started bookmarking pages to every possible historical gun made from 1945 and backward for references for my story and other works of mine.

Tried talking to your teachers about your concerns? Normally teacher will try and help. If they are no use talk to friends and peers, see if anyone can help.

Band will get you little, math will get you more.
Also, in the past two days I've learned that College is really really fucking college.
Like, In the most neutral way I can say that. My dorm life is fun, Most of my classes are teaching me information that I am genuinely interested in, the homework rush hasn't really started yet. I do know that college teachers are a whole hell of a lot lazier than high school teachers.
"Alright, so, what you do is decide a topic to write a paper on, and then you turn that paper in to this website that auto corrects it and checks it for plagiarism. If you have any questions on what we will be doing throughout this course, look at this paper. If you have any questions, look in this book. If you need to talk to me, email me. If you need me to do any kind of work, I'll probably be too busy."

^^^This. Though band is a lot of fun, and music is important, it's obviously something you are interested (and talented) in and will not take long to catch back up on after missing a few lessons or practices. I would advise you skip a day or two of band a week until you catch up on math.

That's not necessarily true. I have a friend who is a music major at a private university, and the music work is killing her. She has to practice six hours a day, not including class instruction time, and her professors can immediately tell if she skipped any practice. I don't know to what extent Stan is involved in the music program, but college band isn't as easy as some people assume.
