I never really played  x-com, so, judging by the "Fallout 3" comment, it's going to be a good game that diehard fans will hate because it's been updated to fit the current market.

P. much, I've read around a bit and apparently you don't even play as the X-COM guys. Although hopefully this wont have an outdated, buggy engine and have a quarter of the game being paid DLC.

I do agree on this part, though. That fucking sucked. I wish it was more like Oblivion than it already was in that respect, looooong game, one biiiiig piece of DLC.

I've never played X-Com either, but this does sound kind of cool, so when I'll check it out as more info becomes available.

And yeah, I was able to get about 170 hours out of Fallout 3 from the base game, and then about 190-ish from the DLC, but with Oblivion I have a fair bit over 200 hours.

Actually, this game hopefully will go back to X-com: Alliance, an old game that was a FPS squad based shooter that got canceled, and honestly all the diehard fans wished X-com: Alliance came out besides the other shitty version of what is now X-com: Enforcer.
