I calculated the odds of this succeeding against the odds I was doing something incredibly stupidů and I went ahead anyway.

Sadly there just aren't that many good werewolf movies.

Does anyone know if the 'wolfman' remake is any good?

Haven't seen it. But it seems like they have removed all aspects o horror and replaced it with action.
That... that is lame.

I watched it in theaters, and I never read the book, but it felt like there were major plot developments left out of the middle of the story. It went something like:

Intro -> problem -> plot development final action scene Embarrassed

When I was a wee lad, "It" was the movie that did it for me. I have watched after I got older and it wasn't scary or particularly entertaining, but when my half-brother used to chase me around asking me if I wanted to buy a balloon... yeah.
