My wife has been watching (and by extension so have I) the show Once Upon a Time. At first I thought it was going to be a total Fables rip-off but it's not bad.
When I actually get a chance to choose the programming I've been watching Psych. I love that show.

I've been binge watching the Dr. Who revival. I know a lot of people love David Tennant's run as the Doctor but I really didn't care for it and almost stopped watching. I'm glad I stuck it out though, Matt Smith is great, I like him almost as much as Tom Baker.

I used to be a big fan. Now I find David quite psychotic. Trying to watch mash currently.

Trumplosion o' the Day and Cowboy Bebop. Though had to rewatch all of my Ghost in the Shell dvds to get that horrid movie out of my head in there as well.
May Cthullu (pbhn) infest Steven Spielberg's nether regions with shoggoth polyps for that one.

It came off with all of the expected schlock and awe and had all the right players. The problem was that it kinda felt like a LOOONG action figure commercial with something of a plot. It was kinda like Spielberg decided that he needed to tweak the origin of the Major some. And he used Scarlett Johansson to do it. He could have done a far better job than to westernize (read cheapen by dumbing down and adding boobs with the right name on them) a classic simply because he was Steven By God Speilberg and he f@$king could. I walked out of the the theater thinking "He whored out Kusanagi for that?"
Damn you, Steven Speilberg, to the Hell of the Upside Down Sinners for all of etetnity. And a day. Because I AM a spiteful bastard like that.

"Hell of the Upside Down Sinners" Heh. Now there's a movie that will last a long time. A long time.

It's hard to beat a classic. And there is no hell too deep for that one. If I could figure out how to get him into that special hell reserved for people who talk in movie theaters, there would he go.

I'm gonna say it right now. If that bastard Steven Speilberg goes anywhere near Remo Williams, Doc Savage or Mack Bolan, I'm gonna make a movie of my own and it's gonna be called Payback, starring his ass.
Yes, I am well aware Chiun can take care of himself. I don't care. I have been provoked enough.
