Just finished the first season of Wakfu. Really fantastic series. For those who don't know, it's a french cartoon based off a french MMO of the same name, which is sequel to the MMO "Dofus".
It follows Yugo, a young boy with strange powers left to the care of the Mayor of a small town as a baby, and with him his friends, Ruel, a greedy but kind old man who is a close friend of the Mayor, Sadlygrove, a brave, noble, and often dimwitted warrior, Amalia, a princess from a forest kingdom looking for more excitement in her life, instead of being cooped up in a castle, along with her bodyguard, and best friend Evangeline, a fierce archer. Together they set off on an adventure to help Yugo find out about who he is and where he came from, as well as to stop a man named Nox, a time mage hell bent on killing and destroying everything in his path so that he can gain the power necessary to travel back in time to right the wrongs of his past, and prevent his family from dying. The show's core demographic is kids (Despite having some rather adult humor), so you can often expect it to be quite childish, though as the plot picks up in pace it becomes more mature.
Also, the animation is
gorgeous, one of the better looking cartoons out there.
