not hobbits. anything that you make, in the artistic way. for me, its modelling, figures and tanks. these guys are 1/72 scale, wich makes them 20mm tall(about 4/5of an inch for you imperial guys) this nice little nazi is 1/35 scale, dunno how many cm or inces high, about 7cm i think, though. so, what do you guys make?

Well, I have started screen printing at home. I am actually waiting for a set to dry so I can experiment with my new gear. Just went out and bought a nice 20x23" wooden screen with 125 count mesh, a 14" squeegee, a 15" emulsion coater, and a quart of photo emulsion. The emulsion coater works like a dream, and I am waiting for that to dry so I can expose it with a sexy ass TZH Red Halo design for my DragonCon costume. Pictures coming soon.

I re-enact. I've made lots of spiffy stuff for it, ranging from clothes to bags to armour to axes to knives. I'd post a few pics, but I ain't on my regular computer.
One thing I want to do eventually is make a Mjolnir amulet out of cast metal of some kind.
Anyone here know if you can make copper wire melt using a blowtorch?

How big is the blowtorch? Here's something that might be useful: melting copper wire

Somewhat similar to sok, I am into modeling. For me, its 28mm gaming. I am not as good a painter as sok, and I'm still learning as well. http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/7971/0720092212.jpghttp://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7429/0720092210.jpgI enjoy creating scenery for said models as well, and I'm looking towards doing epic scale things such as large military bases and terrain. I can draw, but nowhere near the artistic ability of our resident artrists. I can also write incredible stories, but those moments are short, few, and far between. As such, my epic trilogy may of the rise and fall of an empire never come to be, or when I'm much older. That, and I am also quite good at crafting makeshift things using whatever is on hand. If I have a practical problem, I can fix it! You don't learn that in school!

Technically, anyone can play video games. XD I don't do anything besides illustration. Like, at all. Ever.

I just lost an entire damn post. Randomly. It just disappeared while I was typing. I hate this daemon computer. Let's try this again... Here's my devART. I'm trying to get better, but currently I lack the necessary tools to do so. My main profession is going to be 2D/3D animation and 3D modeling (with other professions on the side). I plan on working at a video game company (like Valve or Bethesda) or a movie company (like Pixar or Dreamworks). Once I know enough and have enough money and business background, I'll start my own company involving both movies and games both.

I think it's really cool that so many people on here seem to make models and stuff like that, I don't think I know anyone here that is into that. Sadly my hobbies are all slowly drifting out the window, with no time to do them in between study and work. When I get the time I like to do a bit of painting, writing (tend to write prose, lyrics, poetry), photography, sewing, drawing, designing, and I've even tried my hand at photo manipulation. Sadly I never really like my stuff, but it's fun to do anyway. P.S. Sammich, this is probably where our discussion about my avatar should have been.

We may fail alone, but that is better than dying with them, only to be forgotten. I for one, would rather suffer now, than leave this life without passion.

I draw, sometimes. I did a sweet drawing of a S&W .357 Magnum with a Bayonet, but I can't find out where I put it... And I don't have a scanner.

XD This is true. Also, you should post up some of your work. :D You might not like it, but I've learned from personal experience that you might dislike your own artwork but that doesn't mean others will.
