OK, I know that you guys know that I lost all interest in Pokemon YEARS ago, but... Yeah... I know the cool level in terms of physical appearance on Pokemon has been dropping steadily ever since the third series of Pokemon, but these one's just look stupid, to be blunt.

One cool thing they added: Animated battlesAlso, this post was an excuse to use this  I don't care how terrible the new generation looks, I am still playing it. I don't care. I love the first generation with all my heart, but it can get boring so that's why I like playing the new generations. Also, Gold/Silver was more badass than Red/Blue. Just saying.  (another excuse to use a new smiley)

charizard is awesome, and so is blastoise.
or maybe it was the animation in the first series, limited colours, etc.
cause i didnt really like the cartoon.

I loved the first game (Blue player here, REPRESENT YO!) and even went so far as to get every pokemon in my pokedex including Mew.
By the time they announced the next games I just didn't have the energy to do it again.

Eh, pokemans are pokemans. I think some new pokemon are badass, I think some old pokemon are retarded. This set of starters is kinda lame, though, but we'll see if it stays that way when their evolutions/pokebretheren are released. All I know is that obnoxious battles that you don't feel like doing are going to be fifty times longer now because of the new battle screen thing.
