So basically there exist two world one for the Humans and the Other for Magical Being including Wizards and Sorceress. Now here we have a story revolving around a dangerous wizard who threatens to enslave the world in darkness.
It comes to my understanding... "Good God.... Doesn't the Mugols have some form of a Para Military Unit whom specialize in combating Magical threats to their world?" I mean really... this just bugs me alot.

Because, for the most part, those "Magical threats" don't exist for people? Nobody actually knows anything about the world of magic outside of the world of magic.

In that case, no. He's essentially a human being, a bullet to the brain would kill him just as well as anyone else.

If he knew they were there, probably not, as he could pretty quickly and pretty easily cast a spell that killed all three.

Yeah, that always bugged me, 'cause the Prime Minister knew about magic and wizards had basically no protection against bullets. Why wouldn't they dispatch some spec ops and end the whole situation? And show the middle finger to those pansies in pajamas in the meantime.

No they wouldn't! They're regular people who rely on their reflexes to swing their wands. They couldn't possibly best an SAS operative, especially if they were taken by suprise.

How would the operatives know who they're looking for? Or should they start assassinating random citizens? Edit: Also, even if they were able to identify some citizens as being magic users, how do you track someone that leaves no electronic footprints?

The prime minister would brief them, duh. Besides: guys in cloaks, weird masks, waving sticks around and one without a nose aren't the most inconspicuous people in the world.
