Samus is a thoughtful badass. She feels emotion, but she's not super dramatic.

Samus isn't really the emotional PTSD type, to be honest.

She's never really had emotions, or personality before, and considering how Other M takes place after all the shit she had go through, I wouldn't blame her for freaking out a bit. XD
I like her personality though.

Honestly, its like if somebody tried to say that about Boba Fett in my opinion. Oh well, doesn't matter cause...

I loved it, and Metroid kinda does have an overall story to it, basic at that. It was to try something new really, like how they had Super Mario RPG, or Luigis Mansion. But I'll be happy when they have a new Metroid Side Scroller as a sequel to Fusion. :3
The story isn't super complex, I could explain it in a few minutes really...

Fusion takes place after everything she went through, and in that game she was thoughtful, not dramatic. She pondered about her CO or whatever it was, she thought about what she'd gone through, but in a detached bounty hunter type of way.

Mhm. Fusion was fun. The purpose of Other M is really just to give you more about who Adam is, and how and why he died, because "Adam was my CO, and he died because something bad happened during one mission." is kinda dry. XD
And of course to tell you more about Samus and who she is.

I hope the next Metroid is like New Super Mario Bros in terms of gameplay and such, just with cool 3D effects, and not super easy.

Mhm, just like Super Metroid, or Fusion, just 3D graphics, backgrounds, enemies and such. 'Cause it's been awhile since a good Metroid sidescroller came out.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow was a Super Metroid-esque game that was pretty awesome...and that's the latest most up to date game I know that's not on PC.

All of the castlevania games for the DS are amazing.

I actually got the Castlevania SotN on Arcade and found it too hard. >.>
Maybe I should give it another try.
Are the DS ones that hard? Wouldn't hurt for me to try them I guess.

I only played through Dawn of Sorrow, but I thought it was pretty easy.
