Lets talk about system

Hello im new in the forum, and may be this weekend with some friends we are going to play a tabletop rpg based on the world of the comic, we are planing to use the WOD 2.0 system, we considered in use unysistem (the system of all flesh must be eaten) but we want to try the other one, so if any of you have already tried something like this, i would like you to give me some pointiers, hombrew rules, and things like that

Depends on how serious the game is meant to be. The one thing I don't like about the WoD system is that a single success is all it takes usually to succeed, but if the game is meant to be take seriously, the players succeeding on everything gets kind of boring. I think it's important for the GM to make sure they give people positive or negative dice pool modifiers when necessary. That's all I can think of at the moment.

yeah you succed with just one but there are a lot of modifiers that affect the dice pool, testing the system a friend had a long fight with a wolf cause both defences let the atack pools as something like 3-4 dices and like every success is at difucluty 8, it was hard to do some good damage or evendamage at all without using combat styles merits

now with the fireguns was a little easier but they can be really affected by the enviroment, we was thinking to make the "bitting process" a series of graple test like 2 or 3 and if you didnt escap from the graple you got bitten and die

Hmm. Y'know, personally I'm not convinced WoD would be an ideal system. Anyone got any ideas on other ones you could use?

One idea I had was to use Cthulhu, but change the skills etc a bit.
