Taking a break from the wood stuff pictures (I'll have some pictures of the finished thing soon; the building steps in between aren't so interesting) and posting a plain drawing:
This is Commander Albus of the Evil Army, known here as Pulppu (he stopped coming to the forum when he lost his password) I made his portrait for Christmas.

That is bloody lovely. Massive respect to you Dodom, there's no way I could make something as nice as that.

I didn't find the English word, but you know when several pieces of wood are assembled to form a wide surface like a table top? That's what it is.

I do woodwork fairly often and I don't know what that stuff's called either.

I usually never really paint on canvass and all that painter stuff, but since I had long breaks at school I decided to do that then:
This is my sister and her new baby.

If you think I messed up the left boob, well it looked that strange on the picture. I should phone her and ask: what WERE your boobs doing exactly???


I also made a glass door recently but I failed to upload a picture of it finished and Photobucket is so slow now that I really don't feel like returning yet.

In its finished form, the whole frame is sculpted like its left side, there are skinny plinths on the edges to conceal the line between the frame and the structural sticks (which were rather ugly) and there is a top piece made of an horizontal plinth painted gold with black ink drawings and a sculpture of two birds standing on a nest surrounded in foliage.
I'll upload the picture when I have the patience once more...
