I know they say men don't cry (or is it that they shouldn't??) but I will admit that now and then a movie catches me off guard and I get teary-eyed. So, what movies make you folks cry or at least 'get something in your eye' cause no admits to crying at the movies right??
I will admit, as others have in another thread, that Toystory 3 made my tear up a little. Me and my niece used to watch those when she was really little, matter of fact we used to do alot of stuff together, now she is getting older and is too cool to hang out with her uncle dude...all sounds very familar for some reason.

Million Dollar Baby. I was actually fully crying in that movie lol, at first I was embarrassed until I saw that everyone leaving the theater was also red in the eyes and holding tissues lol.

We may fail alone, but that is better than dying with them, only to be forgotten. I for one, would rather suffer now, than leave this life without passion.

I forgot about that one, have to agree with you though, most tear-jerking ending ever.

I'm kinda worried that people are tearing up over Toy Story 3. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. Toy Story have been my favorite movies through my childhood and this movie will be the closing chapter. (please don't spoil anything) I remember there was this one movie I really teared up over, but I don't remember the name. I remember I teared up when watching cast away in the scene where that ball drifted away on the ocean. I dunno why. My mentality is rather cynical against animals and people, but I easily get attached to things.

The only company he had was the volleyball. Yeah it made him look crazy, but without it, the island would have taken Hanks' character a lot sooner. However, I did like the bittersweet moment at the end when he's driving the Jeep, he bought another one. The Lion King.

The Lion King.
I don't know if I have ever shed a tear over The Lion King since I've watched it like a million times since I was 3. I wouldn't remember.

I never cried at the Lion King, I just kept wondering what would have and could have been in the movie.
Valkyrie, the death scenes at the end made me feel sad and extremely angry. Then it explains that if they waited 2 more months to initiate their plan then they would have succeeded. Damn Hitler.

It might not have been the most historicaly acurate movie but it did manage to capture the emotions very well. There have been more than a few war movies that have made me tear up a bit, of course now that I am trying to think of another one nothing comes to mind... Most uwe boll movies make me cry as well although for entirly the wrong reason.

End of Toy Story 3. Towards the end, when Kevin, Sam, and Quorra are being chased by Clu, his soldiers, and Rinzler flying towards the portal to the real world, Rinzler regains his memory of being Tron before going in for another sweep at their ship, and instead heads for Clu's ship saying "I fight for the users!", and collides with it. No idea why, but it got to me somehow. Amazing movie.
