True story, that song is the whole reason I started drinking Bushmills. It turned out Jameson is better but you can do worse for your intro to Irish Whiskey. That's Melvin on six string... "Some tell me I can't sing!" I think you can, just don't do it round me...

I've still never made a facebook, and it seems like all the hype over it is dying down, now there's this Google+ crap? *sigh*
Is Google+ essentially a second Facebook/third MySpace?

I dislike social networking, but I figured I'd give it a try, I'll probably just forget about Google+ in the long run though. Anyways, its like facebook, but not facebook. What sets Google+ apart from facebook and other imitators are the "Circles". On Facebook you'd post something to your wall and everybody sees it, on Google+ you can organize your friends and family into "Circles", so by default there's a circle for your friends, family, etc, but you can make more, and the when you go to post on your Stream (Google+'s version of facebooks Wall), you can select for only a certain circle (Or more than one if you wish) to see that post, so if you select your friends circle only people of that circle will see it, but you can also show everybody like on facebook if you want to. So with the circles you have a bit more privacy. Talking about something you don't want your family to know? Just select a circle that doesn't include them.

Seems pretty pointless to me. Plus, I can't be arsed to move from Bookfacespace.
Oh bugger, this means that'll need to be changed too. Hmm...

Also...Facebook lacks privacy, even when you set everything as private. They say they own whatever images and whatnot that you put up, and have the right to use any of them in any way they see fit. Or something along those lines. If you deactivate your account, all of your information is still accessible by Facebook and app-owners. It isn't once your account is deleted that your information is gone (probably), but you have to go through a lot just to do it and the steps aren't anywhere to be found save for step-by-step processes that people post elsewhere. With Google+, everything you put up is yours and yours alone. You have a huge amount of privacy and can even hide certain information from people you wouldn't want to see. Or just hide everything. This is the only thing that is just a slight bit iffy: We will record information about your activity - such as posts you comment on and the other users with whom you interact - in order to provide you and other users with a better experience on Google services.
We may also collect information about you from other users, such as when someone puts you in one of their circles or tags you in a photo. Some users may choose to display information about you publicly, such as by displaying your public profile name and photo on their Google Profile in a list of people they’ve added to their circles. However, this isn't saying they gather your profile information and completely break the boundaries of privacy. It's merely stating that they gather information based upon the people you interact with or what is displayed publicly. Who knows, maybe they'll pull a 180 later, but right now things are on the right track.

Have to agree with Sammich.
Usually I just skip over the terms and agreements for things anyway. Too long.

I don't think you had G+ 3 years go, they only just started it, I'm pretty sure. Its still in Beta, so that's why there's invites.
