Im reading an autobiography of Hitlers adiutant (is that a word in english?). Feels weird to read about hitler in a way that describes  him as a normal guy, just caring for his country, not a half crazed monster that he is usually described as. Still, amazes me, how much hatred has to be in every one of us, that given the right circumstances, most of us could be death camp guards(be it gulag or nazi camp), ss or kgb members.

Heres what I got so far:

France, England and the United States placed a lof of the blame for world war one onto germany

France was MAAAAAAAD.

Lot of things took palce during the Treaty of Versailles (France took the piss outta germany, US wanted isolation from conflict while trying to get the world to unify iwthin League of Nations and fourteen points and all that, and UK was trying to be as fair as it could)

in the end, Germany was very poor, and a lot of germans looked to the communists and national socialists. And then Hitler, and then Ultranationalism, And then massive crimes against humanity and genocide.

YADDAH YADDAH YADDAH THAN THIS WORLD WAR TWO SHIT HAPPENED AND IT WAS BAD.

And then the United Nations got started, and internationalism was making one hell of a peep. (Shit still went down the world over, but the UN brought more of it to light, and did what they could to deal with it)

And then NORAD happened in response to the cold war

And a buncha other shit. Internationalism. Foreign Policy, Ultranationalism, Collective security, Succesor states, Tibet n junk. and then theres a bunch of canada stuff I need to remember and also the french revolution, and then the napolean kerfuffle, bla bla bla

I really dont wanna post this, because I fear my ignorance will bring about a flame war of apocalyptic proportions. These are basically my notes, guys. I'm a stupid grade eleven kid. these arent really facts or opinions, just hackings and slashings of the semester. Dont argue, please. I've already broken Godwyn's law. Flame war over World War II? Shit, man, nothing's been more black and white in history ever. There were the good guys (Not Nazis), and there were the bad guys (Nazis). No, not everyone in the Nazi party knew what was happening in Germany, and because of that, they don't technically count. They were still assholes, though.

fixed. Guys remember that- you don't see Commies as enemies in WW2 just because Hitler attacked them about a week before they planned to attack germany. Barbarossa delayed a couple more days= Commies all over western Europe. (or not, seeing how the winter war went for them, Finland FTW:D)

Just keep in mind- Communists were just as terrible as Nazis. They just won, with some help from the west, and as hitler said, "The victorious write history".

You know what the best part about WWII was? The "II" actually represents the amount of Ws in the abbreviation. And the Ws actually stood for "Willy Wonka". This ultimately means that Hitler was actually the real-life version of Willy Wonka, and Willy Wonka's chocolate factories were actually concentration camps. This was hidden from the public for undisclosed reasons.
