Despite the older movie being less accurate to the books, I still enjoyed it a fair bit more than the newer Tim Burton one. I've never liked anything Tim Burton has made, and I don't like how he casts Johnny Depp in every single one of his movies. I don't have anything against Johnny Depp, but for godsakes Tim, there are other actors out there too.
Me and my friend were talking about this after Captain America, mosying around the big T.O. last week, eh ol' pal o' mine o' bean? And they are best buds from way back, sharing coke from the cooler or taking a jaunt down to the soda shop beside the comic book store. |

Like...Not even Night Before Christmas? Or Edward Scissorhands? Or Sweeney Todd? I didn't really like the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or Alice in Wonderland. This. Though I do find it insane that he puts Depp in all of his stuff. I can't complain much, though, since Depp fills his roles perfectly. It's almost like Tim is constantly testing him to see what kind of characters he can do. |
