Then look up Attack! Attack! If I remember correctly, Stick Stickly is the best. These dudes come from the same town as me and are all douchebags who have mastered the art of "no, we're totally serious."

It could be good without Lucas involved. Or it could be further down the shit spiral.

If they think to chronicle Luke's fall to the dark side, it might be good. If they throw out the extended universe, fuck em.

At this point, any Star Wars movie without Lucas would be good IMO. I just hope they do actually get someone else to direct it and throw in everything the fandom actually likes about it, and gut bullshit (Midi-chlorians *shudder*). That's what we all hope, but as we've seen, Lucas is going to be at the helm and is going to see his job through by completely demolishing anything good and making sure we see the boat explode, and him escape on his golden speedboat.

hes a creative consultant.
Also fear not, for A. DISNEYS REALLY GOOD AT TURNING A PROFIT, THEREFORE IM JUST GONNA GO AHEAD AND THINK THIS MOVIES GONNA BE OKAY
B.Just because Disney bought Lucasfilm does NOT mean that Disney is making Star Wars. Disney bought Marvel, remember? And before that, Marvel cranked out Spiderman 1, 2, and 3, with a Hulk movie somewhere in the middle. After Disney bought Marvel they came up with Iron Man. I think all Disney is doing is giving Lucasfilm a butt tonne more cash and resources to work with. This could go either way.

Seeing as how he's actually ya know made the franchise, I'm guessing they're going to take his word highly, but seeing as how he's not going to direct it is a step in the right direction. Stan also has a point, but then again profit is never equal to amount of work or quality of the work, (Twilight) and Disney does like to run it's franchises into the ground as well (Lion King 1/2, Fox and the Hound 2, etc.). Disney just giving Lucasfilms money to make it might actually be interesting to see, mainly because I'm wondering who they're going to get to direct it, and whether or not he tells Lucas to sit down, shut up and steer clear of what might actually be the death of Star Wars. I'm not talking about total death mind you, there will still be those people who cling to it for dear life, and Lucas is still going to make a BOATLOAD of cash a week because of royalties and merchandising, but in the eyes of the fans it might just kill it.
Now that I've looked it up and read a few things I've also found out this might be the all clear or oh shit moment. They're remaking all of the episodes, which I'm worried about. If they just do remakes, they will be fine, but knowing Disney they'll add stuff in, which might be bad or good, and this also gives them an opportunity to retcon EVERYTHING and never mention Binks again. This is going to be very interesting, and quite possibly the New Hope Star Wars needed, or it might just shoot it in the head.
P.S. I know it'd probably never happen, but wouldn't it be awesome if Joss Whedon was the new director?

Joss Wheedon is probably the only thing that could restore all of fucks I had to give regarding Star Wars that George Lucas spent decades destroying.
*checking...*
Nope, still have no fucks left to give.

Wonder how many Wookiees would be in VII. RotS had some good in it with all the Wookiees, Ian McDiarmid, them fights, John Williams and more Wookiees.
