If you're gonna do that shit, do it about one of those ontario elections that always end in the cops chasing a rapist around a tim hortons or some shit.

I re-watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail for like the 7,000th time last night. It gets funnier every single time!

Eraserhead. Really weird and surreal David Lynch movie. The moral of the story is that babies suck, and to wear a condom.

That movie was such a disappointment. Everyone always told me how amazing it was, and then I watched it and thought it was fucking terrible.

Yeah I don't know how to feel about it. I don't think I'd watch it again anytime soon, that's for sure.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

I can't say I didn't enjoy it, but I was rather confused at points, and somewhat disappointed at the end.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

I can't say I didn't enjoy it, but I was rather confused at points, and somewhat disappointed at the end.

I've lost more and more enthusiasm for this movie series since the Two Towers and the trailers for this one with Legolas in them just kind of made me cry on the inside.  I would ask if they read the books at all but I'm pretty sure I don't want to know the answer since either way I'll be dissapointed.  I'll still go see it though.  Because the hope is there...

Sometimes I hate being a fanboy.

Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, twice since AMC is showing them a few times a week. Both still hold up and the in-universe movies "Angels with Dirty Souls" and "Angels with Even Dirtier Souls" are still funny, especially with the sequel's wild spray of bullets and post-mortem one-liner. Second rehases some jokes but was actually better than I thought. Solid fun, tricks and traps and the second half where the bumbling villains try and capture Kevin is always a hoot.

I'll probably watch it once more, and maybe sit through the third for kicks even if it lacks the original Kevin. Fourth/Fifth just seem like a travesty.

World War Z. Read the book and AVOID THIS FUCKING MOVIE. Complete shit.
I thought it was a mediocre zombie movie, but it was a waste calling it World War Z since it really had nothing to do with the book.

They had to change a lot because money, like they had to change some of the locations the book was set in because they didn't wanna piss off those particular audiences with the movie and whatnot.

I also saw Desolation of Smaug. Wasn't terrible. Best parts were Two Face the elf, Orlando Bloom's bad cgi horse and when Thorin body surfs on molten gold
