"Powstanie Warszawskie" (the Warsaw Uprising) which is a movie made out entirely out of historical footage of the warsaw uprising. While the story is most certainly not the most fascinating one, this movie was absolutely terrifying. The footage has been digitally improved and colourised(is that a word? it should be a word), which made it way more "real" to watch than some tv documentary with bored lector reciting the amount of dead.
Also- it was fucking terrifying, showing war at it's scariest- very few 'action' scenes(which were actual shootouts, to remind you), shots were mostly of the ruined city, people living and dying.
I'd call it the most anti-war movie ever, showing how cruel and pointles war is.
Sorry for the lack of english subtitles in the video, but i cant find any:P

btw, Are the wings on fire?

Saw the last Hobbit movie the other day. The Battle of the Five Armies.
You know those kid movies that contain battle scenes and how they never show the good guys getting killed? One minute they're up and fighting and the next time you see them they're stone cold dead? Get ready for AN HOURS WORTH OF JUST THAT.

And you can't tell which side is which after the dwarves and orc armies start to mix because both sides are wearing dull grey armor.
There are a couple of good scenes: Smaug's attack on Laketown portrays how terrifying an actual dragon attack would be, the White Council fighting the ringwraiths and the final battle are all good scenes.
However the titular battle of the five armies is very boring for the most part and I didn't find it to be very energetic. May be due to the fact I knew what was going to happen.

Also one more thing: If you've seen any of the trailers you've noticed that bit where Saruman says "LEAVE SAURON TO ME!"
There is no Saruman vs Sauron scene in this movie. After Saruman says that line he vanishes from the movie and is never seen again.
