It was better when it was Omega Man.
Or just go read the book again.

I concur. Though I did like the first sequel. However the last one? Not so much. Why go from Egypt to China?
We associate China, With Ghost shit... and Demon's... Not effing Mummies... and the Qin Emperor Does not turn into a dragon dammmn it!

Saw "The Orphan" last night. Shit was weird. Kid falls out of the treehouse. Me: "He could survive that fall. It's like 15 feet." Jeremy: "Well yeah except *kid falls* OH FUCK I'M GONNA FALL ON THE BASE OF MY SPINE!"

I finally saw Avatar and I also saw Iron Man 2. Both movies were awesome and epic. Though Avatar was predictable and Iron Man's last battle scene was cut hugely short in my opinion (compared to the first where it goes on for too long).

I am watching Night of the Living dead right now. Some weird factors in it but it is a classic, so it isn't of much notice. Rather good, I must say.

From what I saw it's very bad. I am watching Night of the Living dead right now. Some weird factors in it but it is a classic, so it isn't of much notice. Rather good, I must say.
Are you watching the 1968 original or the remake? Either way, make sure you watch the other one at some point. They're excellent companion pieces.

"Hes coming to get you barbara". That one in black and white. I suppose its the original.
I heard that the new nightmare on elm street remake sucks ass. And after watching Angry Joe show... I don't doubt it.

Original... and kudos for the B&W viewing. Though it's available don't waste your time watching the colorized version. It's is crap. For one thing they used chocolate syrup for blood so they can't get the blood tone right...
For another the colorizing process eliminates pretty much all shadows which is really bad for horror movie atmosphere.
The remake is pretty good, it's written by George Romero and was directed by Tom Savini, who also oversaw the special effects.

"Hes coming to get you barbara".
Hehe, my girlfriends' name is Barbara, so I say this line all the time, especially in cemetaries. I heard that the new nightmare on elm street remake sucks ass. And after watching Angry Joe show... I don't doubt it.
I liked Robert Englund better as Freddy...I just couldn't stop myself from thinking "Hey, it's Rorschach!" everytime Jackie Earle Haley was on film. As far as the movie goes as a whole though, I thought the story seemed more cohesive and a lot less cheesy feeling than the orignal, and Jackie Earle Haley really did do a great job as Freddy Krueger, if I wouldn't have known it was him playing Freddy, I think the parts with him would have been a lot better. Overall I liked the new one better than the original, which is really rare for me.
