FFVII.

F.
F.

The only person I can expect to not cry at that would be HK.

I don't know why, but I thought of FF II and not FF VII. HK is sight-impaired at times.

And you're right Stanley, it was spoiled for me so long ago and I never got to know the characters or why Cloud carries such a huge ass sword. Nor have I played any game in the main series apart from IV.

But if it was II (IV in this case)

It's interesting, I cry during movies and TV shows, but don't get scared by either, yet I get totally freaked out in games, but don't cry at all.

I havent cried at a movie or game since I was 5. I do get shivers though when there is a particularly awesome cutscene or combat sequence though. Especially when they have good music. Halo is definately one of those.

After a brutal first year in Gal Civ II, I chanced upon a Class 26 planet, way out of my territory, ripe for the picking. Manly tears were nearly shed.

I've never fully cried at a game(because I'm a man and I fight it with every ounce of my body), except for once.

Lost Odyssey. If you have played it, you know.

A lot of games have made me tear up, though.

There's something vaguely disquieting about the notion that not only are there many people out there who cry to video games, but they've just this moment gathered together to share their experiences.

The only game to make me cry was Splatterhouse. And by "cry," I mean this: Outlaw with an upgrade

I personally see no reason why crying is "unmanly". It takes a real man to feel emotions instead of shunning them. I hate that "real men crush beer cans over their heads and headbutt everyone" crap. It's just water that comes out of your face because you feel a strong connection with whatever it is you're witnessing. Crying makes you weak? Does that mean women are weak? No, it means they can connect with things easier. The only real time men (or anyone, for that matter) should hold back tears is if they need to set an example for people going through some kind of hardship. Otherwise, crying is just another part of bodily functions, next to breathing and shitting. If you hold your breath all the time, you're gonna pass out. If you hold in your shit, you're gonna either have horrible constipation or get shit all over like...everything.

XD I figured you were joking.

I was just speaking generally. There are a lot of people who think that man tears make you weak. And that's dumb as fuck.

I personally see no reason why crying is "unmanly".
Who says crying is unmanly? That's your word, not mine. When my first girlfrined dumped me, I cried. When my son died of cancer, I cried. But I can't help wondering whether you ever had anything actually bad happen to you, or whether the closest you've come to experiencing genuine loss is the vicarious tragedy provided by movies and video games.  Huh?
