Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure. Getting to the ending and getting awesome ending was hilarious and fucking amazing.
High five for Pitfall Hail! *Aims for high five*
Still wishing for one more game to come out, but the odds are horribly slim. As slim as a sequel to Midtown Madness 3, which reminds me of a rambling, nostalgia old man tale:
Midtown Madness 2, with it's horribly outdated blocky, simple graphics (On traffic, buildings, the grass, people, monuments, the sky etc), arcade style physics (Which is one of it's best aspects), the VO before every race or cruise session and the overall arcadey feel of it all.
Seriously loved to just cruise around in this game. The races were good, some around the city that were only winnable in a Panoz GTR-1, which could be totaled in a crash and the Crash Course was fun but never had the skill to maintain a certain speed while cornering. But cruising around London and San Fran was the best. Driving up a road to launch off that swervy hill to clear it and land on the road, speeding past a cop or turning a bit before the jump to land in a grassy space between buildings. Or going off anything that can get me air, knowing that the cops could get even more air to the point where I couldn't help but laugh.
Or the cops themselves, who were as reckless as you are, if not more so. Plowing through traffic, sending other cars airborne, not giving a damn about anybody that gets in your way... those were real coppers.
Good times... and now I'm getting a daily dose of it, 15-30 minutes per day. Damn Microsoft for not bringing it back.
