OooooOooOo, chainsaws.
I was very disappointed we didn’t get to see Woody use the chainsaws in Zombieland. Let’s hope we get to see some of it here.
Honestly, I haven’t missed the Zeds at all. It’s been great just to “hang out” with the gang. Character development: the same element that makes “Shawn of the Dead” the best zombie movie ever.
Zombieland is very stiff competition though. I actually liked it more to be honest.
NOOOOOoooo Stop comparing Zombieland to Shaun of the Dead! They are different movies! They are supposed to be different! I liked Shaun of the Dead, too, but I don’t want a bunch of clone movies!
I like this strip gives off kinda a junk yard dog feeling about Mau, And this Billy guy gives off that feeling as well. Whatever you were going for it worked because this strip had no guns, zombies, boobs, or action in it. I read it like 6 times just to because i could.
SotD and Zombieland are two fantastic movies. I’m not sure which one I like more…
As for the comic, good stuff! Love the last panel.

Both Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead are awesome! I was blessed to see both in theaters. If you liked those, check out Fido. Another great zombie film.
oh my god, Fido! freakin love that movie. Billy Connely does such a good job as a zombie. XD and aye, this is what makes my mondays awesome. and Eerie Cuties. XD
Chainsaws are okay, but terribly short ranged. I want the model that’s mounted on a stick so I have reach. :)

Chainsaws are also loud, heavy and gas powered but still fun to use when you want to kill a few zeds (A few dozen is another story)
Sounds like our little Katie has some trauma, that close call out in the field couldn’t have help much.

God I LOVE the whole… lighting the cig with the torch deal. Gives an awesome sense of character for someone we just met.
Also, I agree. I am loving this character development, just seeing what the little slice of paradise is like.
That being said, I can’t wait to see some zombies. xD

I think the white tip in the face-on shot is one of those little plastic holders. Is that a cigarette, or is it a cigarillo (I think that’s the term, little cigars)?

Lighting his cig with a torch just reminds me of that Cowboy Bebop episode “Toys in the attic”, ‘cept Billy had more luck with gettin’ it lit rather than burning the whole darn thing like Spike did. lol
so…. are there going to be zombies eventually? I feel like we haven’t seen a zombie in like 5 or 6 months.
I have it on good authority that there are never going to be any more zombies in the comic. Ever. Which means there won’t be anything for the zombie hunters to hunt. In fact, Jenny’s changing the name of the comic to simply “The”.
