184 - Thursday Update
Posted on 2009-04-20 00:00:38

Stay tuned for a Thursday update this week!

(I couldn't resist giving Mercer a bow tie.)

I also have updated the LINKS page.

Also! Some fun stuff brought to my attention, for all those peeps in the UK:
The 8th Annual London Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film - or SCI-FI-LONDON 8, will feature two very different zombie movies:

On Friday 1st the first ever Brazilian zombie movie called MUD ZOMBIE (dir. Rodrigo Aragao 2008) - Forget the urban settings of your typical low-budget zombie flick, this takes you to the hot, sweaty mangrove swamps of the remote state of Espirito Santo.

AND on the same evening a great low-budget Canadian zombie-flick called YESTERDAY (dir. Rob Grant, 2009) - This low-budget first feature pays a lot more attention to the characters and the interaction between the survivors than simply shooting at zombies, which lifts it above the usual splatter movies, but still includes all the blood-soaked, gory elements one expects of the genre. (Oh yeah!)

- Writer-director Rob Grant will be at the screening to answer your questions about shooting a zombie feature on a shoestring.

- The screenings take place at London's most luxurious cinema, the Apollo Piccadilly Circus on Lower Regent Street. Tickets are 12.00

- Tickets are on sale now from the Apollo ticket office on 0207451 9944 and more details can be found at their website www.sci-fi-london.com

Original script for 04-20-2009:
This script may not match the finished comic! It will, however, contain the original spelling errors and other mistakes.
It's a beautiful day and Mercer is marching purposely towards the main ARC building, he runs past a sign that's stating what wing he is in blahblahblah, conference wing? Glancing down at his watch, Mercer is muttering "where are they?"

From above a green water balloon falls from the sky and explodes on top of his head drenching him in water.

Jenny: [From atop the roof] Ha! Got em! Shit-- [jenny Hides Sam and Milo are beside her.]

Mercer: [looking up, then back down, muttering as he is taking off his glasses] Count to ten, count to ten count to ten. One....two....three....
