Soo Zombie Walk 2009
Wednesday October 28th, Sault Ste. Marie

Presented by the Arts Council, Sault Youth Association and the Algoma University Students' Union.
What's a Zombie Walk you ask?
Webster's Dictionary defines Zombie Walk [zom-bee wawk] as: PURE AWESOME.

A Zombie Walk is exactly what it sounds like; a large number of individuals dressed in full zombie gear and in full zombie character walking from one location to the next. Zombies are not only a pop-culture symbol but also a symbol of unity at its finest. A collective group, recruited, assembled, and walking for one main purpose...BRAAAIIINNNSSS!!!

But after this Zombie Walk there will be a new purpose for the walking dead: A Full Scale Zombie Food Drive with Algoma University Students' Union. Once the walk is over we will branch off into groups and canvas selected neighbourhoods for something other than brains, non-perishable food items for the Algoma University Student Food Bank and a local Public Food Bank.

To ensure our Zombies are well behaved we have developed some key guidelines:

- Respect other people's property. Eat brains, but leave no marks or scraps behind.
- Stay off the road, and try to shamble on the sidewalk and away from traffic.
- Respect other zombies and the living's personal space.
- Not everyone is a victim, no mauling unless it's consensual.
- You are responsible for your own corpse.
- Have fun!

This event will include prizes for best and most clever Zombie costumes...so use your braaaiiinnnsss.
Prizes donated by Rob Sacchetto www.zombieportraits.com and Jenny Romanchuk www.thezombiehunters.com just to name a few!

If interested in participating, please email ssmarts@shaw.ca to join our mailing list. We will update you on the time and downtown location of the walk and how to become more involved. You can also enlist as a Zombie Recruiter; gather a group of the undead to participate in this walk and food drive. After all, recruiting is what zombies do best.

This script may not match the finished comic! It will, however, contain the original spelling errors and other mistakes.
[You then cut to a scene of Megan helping Charlie onto the table; he's bandaged up now]
