Hurr derr hurr :|
Spoiler. Milo DIES.

Okay, a lot of people ask me: "How do you start a webcomic?" Which is a REALLY REALLY broad question with possibly a hundred different answers.

But this is why I am doing this, and I am definitely just going to break it down into manageable chunks.

So, first off you should decide how into it do you want to get, is it just a fun thing? Or perhaps you just want it to be something more?
I have 2 basic guidelines that would be good to note before your stuff even goes up on the web if you want it to be something more than just a fun project.

Do NOT do it for the 'fame' or the 'money.' It will be at LEAST 3-4 years or more before you will see any real profit from it. And it's no six figure salary that's for sure, living off your comic requires a lot of sacrifice, work, STRESS, dedication, and sometimes, isolation!

Mostly isolation... and a slow, slow decent into madness. But once you're there? There are so many things to do and people to talk to!
Tune in Monday! New Chapter! Woohoo!

ALSO: I was regrettably unable to participate, but I wanted to give a shout out to the Comic Creator's Alliance:

"We're a group of Web Comic Creators, who have come together, volunteering our artistic talents to raise money for the purpose of ending human trafficking in the world today.
There are currently 27 million enslaved people worldwide- more than double the number of enslaved Africans during the trans-Atlantic slave trade. UNICEF estimates that 1.2 million children every year are sold into slavery, most of it sexual. The US Department of Justice estimates 16,000 victims of human trafficking are brought into the United States every year.
Web Comic Creators from all over the world are working together on a single drawing which will be available as a downloadable wallpaper for readers who donate to our fund raising drive!"

Please donate to their charity! It's for an amazing cause, the artwork features characters from many of your favourite webcomics.
Hopefully I will be able to participate next time! :)

Original script for 01-14-2010:
This script may not match the finished comic! It will, however, contain the original spelling errors and other mistakes.

Jenny: Yeah, I dunno it's stupid. There's probably nothing left there anyway... and I know my family is dead... I just, don't feel like we belong here... I want, I just want a home again.

Milo: [embraces her in a hug] Home is where the heart is.

Jenny: I guess you're my home then. You smell nice.
